Rally TV App Reviews

This is a great app for rally fans. The WRC+ subscription provides loads more info and video especially during races. Although the navigation is vague and you sometimes have to dig deep to get to useful features.

Just like the reviewer below me stated, its a solid app and its definitely worth the plus subscription, should you want to do so. That being said, however, there needs to be an HD/iPad version of this app, since you have to use the zoom feature in your iPad to look at it full screen. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever.

Best way to get my WRC fix on the go! Live streaming works great.

For following the WRC season the promoters have done a great job of providing this app. For free, too, which is more than many other motorsports apps can boast. Full of live timing, live radio, results and video as well as the weekly Regroup podcast. The app is still not a native iPad app which pisses me off. I dont need 48pt type to fill my 9" screen. Port the app to iPad for heavens sake and make better use of the screen size. The app is also prone to crash when live streaming the radio and the quality of the radio stream is questionable at times but thats no fault of the app. And its free, so you cant complain. Of all the motor racing apps available Id say WRC gets it most right. If all other motorsport apps followed this template Id be a happy petrol head.

Its nearly impossible to use a secure password with this app. For example, I use lastpass so I can have secure unique passwords. When I went to copy the generated password from lastpass into the password field of the app there is no option to paste? So frustrating considering how long and complex of a password I use.

I was going to pay for WRC+ but the video is tiny on my iPad Pro! I like the idea but I cant believe they dont have a version for iPad. I dont think I want to spend $50+ for video I can barely see. Until they update it I dont think theyll get my money. As it is its ok for people who dont get TV coverage of the Rallies as the video is pretty much the same stuff thats aired on Rally weekends with Rally related news. OK if youre on a phone but not a tablet.

Excellent iPhone app. Live feeds, good access to missed races - full length too! Its amazing compared to what I used to do to watch 6 years ago. Unfortunately though the lack of an actual iPad version is ridiculous for $6/mo. And while chromecast is supported, its very inconsistent - this may very well be chromecast itself though (see HBO now ratings and chromecast comments).

Its quite good. Love the maps and coverage with WRC+. Only downside is that when using AirPlay to watch the videos when the phone turns off its screen, the videos stop. Is it possible to change this behavior?

The app missed the ability to cast the video on a big screen. Even if you upgrade to the WRC+.

This app would be good if it was for iPad , I hate to have to use the iPhone app in my iPad pro and have to zoom in and the videos only take half of the screen with low resolution. I paid for a year of WRC+ and all I get is an app made for the iPhone ,I wish I could give this app 0 stars

I just subscribed thinking Id be able to use the app on my iPad mini or iPad Pro (12.9") but the so is only optimized for phones. Please add support for the iPad. Id love to watch using my iPad.
